it was different on manga i believe. If I remember correctly 17 talked frieza in secrecy. the moment he blew his infinite energy generator, he stayed hidden and only frieza knew. when everyone was out they are wondering whats gonna happen then 17 emerged. he faked his death so that Goku would have an additional emotional boost.. atleast thats what I remember lmao

Goku and Frieza teaming up was a monumental moment in Dragon Ball Super and in the Dragon Ball series as a whole. Android 17 real MVP. The end credits still give me chills, especially with Kakarot and Vegeta's iconic poses 🔥🔥

Edit: 17 MVP, Frieza did do his job so earned his reward. Love how everyone tried their best to separate Goku from the toddlers. If they didn't we may have had back to back cosmic incidents. The Justice people will begin to have a real connection now, can't believe Jiren is only now opening up and living a life.
Gave the anime a 7/10, really liked it. Not sure how much more we will get as Dragon Ball has been out since 1984. I want to see this tournament in real time and see how much of a shit show that would be like 20x speed since it took them like 55 episodes to cover 48 minutes.

If Frieza invaded the earth as a joke at the end this would be a 10/10.
Gotta say I loved almost all of this! They added most of the previous arc without it being over bearing and amazing to remember. I really didn't like the Trunk's time arc bs. I was really looking forward to an amazing story and it just didn't deliver, not even close. They crushed it!
Dragonball is one of the few shows I don't mind having filler episodes for as long as its something related to something previously established. I was expecting a Pilaf rise of power though which was surprising to not see. 9.5/10
